What we collect
We may collect account details such as name, email address, role, school-related domain information, class membership, worksheet progress, assignment submissions, marking outcomes, badges, and activity linked to using revision resources inside iMedia Genius.
How information is used
Information is used to create and secure accounts, manage classes, assign work, save worksheet answers, display progress, support teacher dashboards, administer the service, and provide revision and engagement features inside the platform.
Tracking choices
Where activity tracking is offered for student engagement features, students are shown a choice before account-linked tracking is enabled. If tracking is kept off, off-site activity should not be recorded against that account.
Who can see information
Students can view their own work and progress. Teachers can view information needed to manage their classes, monitor assigned work, and review student completion and badge activity. Administrators can access account and site-management information needed to operate the service safely.
Storage and retention
Account and worksheet data is stored in the app’s underlying Firebase services. Some browser storage may also be used to remember settings and improve the sign-in experience on a device. Data may be retained while an account is active and for operational, safeguarding, audit, or educational continuity reasons unless deletion is requested and permitted.
Your rights
Depending on your role and applicable law, you may be able to request access, correction, restriction, or deletion of personal data held in the platform. Students should normally raise privacy questions through their teacher or school administrator in the first instance.
